Visa Information

Visa

You must arrange a Visa well in advance of travel and it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct documentation.

Visa Invitation Letters

For some Visas, you may be required to provide a letter form the host Nation to support your application. To request a ‘Visa Invitation Letter‘, please contact the local Organising Authority for each event, you will find contact details on their websites, alternatively contact registration@sailing.org for more information.

Anti-Doping

World Sailing is proud of sailing’s reputation as a dope-free sport and continues to work together with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the sailing world to help ensure that the sport can maintain its excellent reputation.

In accordance with The Racing Rules of Sailing, which govern the sport on the water, all sailors are required to comply with the World Sailing Anti-Doping Code, which follows the WADA Anti-Doping Code.

The World Sailing Anti-Doping Code is in force for all competitors and World Sailing is required to undertake doping tests, both in and out of competition. World Sailing has sub-contracted WADA and WADA-authorised organisations to undertake a certain number of in and out of competition tests each year.
